The 3 questions homeowners ask me?

I am humbled and saddened as so many of us have been this week as we remember, honor and mourn the loss of three brave first responders in Burnsville.  Matthew Ruge and Paul Elmstrand of the Burnsville Police Department,  and firefighter/paramedic Adam Finseth died in the line of duty February 18. They died protecting several small innocent children,  and the dozens of others that could have been harmed if they would not have stepped in.  They and their families truly deserve and need our thoughts, prayers, and support.

Blessed be the memories and service of Adam, Matthew, and Paul.

I will start with this "non-maple related" event and it coming up quick.
Friday evening, March 1.

The Chaska Community Center is having a free "Superhero" Festival with Carnival Games, Bouncy inflatables and more. It is open to all ages and it is FREE.

(NOTE: You DO NOT NEED to be a CCC Member or a Chaska resident to attend)

So, the Maple Syrup'ing season is here earlier with the warm tempartures we have been having, so many tree's are being tapped as we speak and syrup is being cooked all over the area. The west metro has an abundance of nature centers that have various Maple Syrup'ing events that are starting this weekend and ongoing for the next month.

A FUN FACT... Minnesota consistently ranks a respectable 10th out of the 17 states that commercially produce Maple Syrup production in the US. Vermont does 1/2 of all US production, so it is not really a fair fight!

So, just click on the link and you can get more info. Some of these "maple syrup'ing educational" events have a small fee and/or advance registration is needed. One thing to mention, many of the parks/nature centers have specialized sessions for different aged groups of children, children on the autism spectrum, home schoolers, and pre-schoolers.

Northstar Donut Truck "Bonus Event"

I love the Northstar Donut Truck! I know it is not an event,
but for an "easy outing" or "something different" to do. Their apple cider donuts and beverages are simply mighty good.

Northstar Donuts will be at the Mills Fleet Farm in Carver this Sunday March 3rd.

Today, the real estate market is pulling from a lot of different directions. Homeowners need a steady experienced person to be a trusted advisor. A market current, pragmatic, and unhyped counsel on potential home investments (dealing with deferred maintenance and cosmetics) and what likely return for their time, effort, and money can be realistically anticipated.

I spend many hours over long periods of time in person, email, and on the phone providing value and confidence to homeowners.
Let me do that for you, it is at the core of what I call... Showing Up, Working Hard, Every Day. & Long before I ask for your commitment.

When you invite me to your home. I will drink your coffee, tea, or tap water, and take a brief tour with you. Then, we will discuss your plans and I listen to you carefully.  No "presentation", just me with my legal pad and clipboard.

I will then leave, almost always before I am asked, and prepare a report for you to give you the counsel you are looking for so you can make the best decision possible when you are are ready to do so. This is my favorite part of what I do, getting to know peoples plans and comfort levels.

Common Thought: Is it STILL a sellers market or has it FINALLY shifted to a buyers market?

YES, it is a strong sellers market due to lack of inventory.
We currently have a limited supply of homes at a 1.6 Months supply for existing single family homes as of 2/29/24.

The Minneapolis-St.Paul Metro has been in a seller's market since Nov 2014 when it hit 3.9 months of supply.
